To ensure this shadow program is as impactful as possible, we don’t do "one size fits all." We want to tailor your time on-site to your specific goals, current hurdles, and professional background.

You will be fully immersed in the daily operations of Canine Cooperative — experiencing not just what we do, but how and why we do it:

  • Live Training Sessions — working hands-on with dogs across a wide range of temperaments, behaviors, and skill levels
  • Behavior Evaluations — learning how we assess dogs, identify root causes, and build a clear path forward
  • Client Lessons — observing how we communicate, coach, and transfer knowledge so owners can create lasting change
  • Socialization & Real-World Exposure — understanding how structured interactions shape behavior, neutrality, and decision-making
  • Mastering Training Techniques — including tool use, timing, pressure application, and reading the dog in real time
  • Program Design & Strategy — breaking down how we build customized training plans using the MELLO framework
  • Real-Time Problem Solving — adapting on the fly when dogs (or humans) don’t follow the plan
  • Business Operations Insight — including pricing structure, financial goal planning, and how we build programs that are both effective and sustainable
